They started the season with a bang, winning the first four, but coming out on the short end of the next three. Monte Brinker was the chief receiver, with Don Jansen filling in as substitute catcher. LaVere Groth led the hitters with a .500 average. Tied for second place were Richard Schwanke and Don Jansen with an impressive .444 seasons average. Junior Smith was slugging in the cleanup slot. Loren Neville and Richard Schwanke also helped with the relief pitching chores. 27 cf
