f 5 .ital- 'Q Ins and mee!! 0 l950 all -'ff-Sfaval On Friday evening November 13th the gymnasium was gaily dec orated with corn shocks, pumpkins and bright colored corn The decorated booths gave a festive air to the occasion The crowds thronged in to see Damon the Magician perform his amazing feats of wonderment He primed the audience to thoroughly enjoy the rest of the evening Cares were forgotten and with utter aban donment the crowd freely patronized the penny toss, basketball throw, baseball throw and various other games Before going up stairs to see the pretty little dancing girls, we looked in on the minstrel show and wondered who let them in And eats my King' We saw gloved hands flying and found ourselves at the boxing match The result one black eye and lots of fun At the appointed hour, a moment of hushed expectancy prevail ed as Roger Sulsberger and Dorothy Lohse were crowned King and Queen of Festival 1950 The proceeds of the evening amounted to 3658 77 Xfter ex penses and taxes were paid we had SL58 LO, the balance of which was used on the stage curtains and new basketball suits for the girls 20 953 J ' K' Q 5 I 7. .
