' e m- m t munrurwmm m mu i W m m m as We believe that the FHA has had a very successfulyear. The members sold fruit cakes and homemade mints as a moneymaking project. Our main project was the teenage consumer. We learned to take care of, and use wisely the clothing purchased, and the meaning of labels and how to read them. We also learned to evaluate advertisements . We plan to honor our fathers this year with a covered dish supper. GIRLS BASKETBALL The Lady Eaglesgot off to another good start by winning their first game with Chatham. They kept up a good season by winning 11 and losing 3.4 They lost only one game in their district. After defeating Renan, the last game before tournament time, they brought in another trophy for District II, Group III Championship. The team was proud to have two girls in the top ten division for the county. Betty Shelton was second and Sandra Munson was tenth. They were also proud of Betty Shelton and Sandra Anderson who were nominated for the County All Star Team. Congratulations girls for winning the Group IIIChampionship in the tournament.
