At the end of each year we are awarded with bars, letters, and other awards. Some of these students are prospective members of the Monogram Club. Johnny Turner, One of our yearly events is going to Fairy Stone Park. We spend our day yelling, dancing, boating, swimming, and eating. Our fourteen new members were initiated in the much talked about methods. Along with the new members, we welcomed a new sponsor, Mr. Byrd; so with Miss Hylton and him leading ; 1mmw mm Sponsors: the way, we have had a very cooperative year. Miss Hylton We have sponsored various parties with Mr' Byrd the m ain emphasis put upon the Homecoming Dance. The Homecoming Queen, Janice President: Anderson, was crowned at the half of the boys Sandra Anderson game by Captain J ohnny Turner. As usual we hope to go by bus to Fairy- stone Park for our last f1 ing as the Climax Monogram Club. We always try to keep our school spirit to show people we're proud of our teams and i school.

Ck K a The Climax F.F.A. Chapter participated in a f 7' number of contests this year. They were: ' Forestry Tractor Driving Degree Team Dairy J udging Public Speaking The Chapter had a good rating in all of the contests. Objectives for the year were to endeavor to carry out the aims and purposes of the F.F.A. to an extent that it would not interfere with the instructionalprogram of vocational agriculture.
