SECOND ROW: Wanda Turner; Charlie Mahan; Ramona Walker; Marilyn Dalton; Margaret Daniel; Patsy Watson; Ricky Franklin; Sandra Anderson; Donnie Oakes. Mrs. Elsie Blair, The Climax S.C.A. has filled its final year with many interesting and worthwhile projects. Among these were such annual projects -as Miss Climax, elected by popular vote of the stu- dent bo dyt, selling ice cream at lunchtime, and the semi-formal Christmas party. The S.C.A. chose two main objectives to be carried out during the year. One was to give a $25. scholarship to the most deserving boy and girl in the senior class. The entries were judg- edton the basis of both class and club work. The other was to meet with Student Councils in our area to plan for the effects of next year's con- solidation. The S.C.A. also provided a Christmas card mailbox for the benefit of the students and tea- chers, and did a good j 0b of keeping our hall bulletin board covered. We conclude this, our final year of work, withthe hope that we have, in some way, served our school and its faculty as they have served us, and that we have helped prepare our fellow students for the challenge oftomorrow. 32

Each member has given something of himself to aid the success of his club. This year the clubs, their presidents, and their sponsors have worked particularly hard to make this an outstanding year. In our opinion, they have succeeded. 31
