We sponsored acontest for our school queen who was in the Christ- mas parades in Chatham and Danville. To make the school look neater, the bulletin board was kept up-to-date each month by each club or class. This was prompted by the Student Council. We again, sponsored the annual Christmas party. To make money, the club members sold ice cream during lunch period and sold school supplies. The remainder of the school pennants were sold. This year was a very prosperous one.

Members of the Climax Beta Club have main- tained a B average and in many cases, an A average. All members have achieved and proven qualities of character and leader - ship set up by the National Honor Society. Our club's objectives considered most im- portant are: To sponsor the White Christ- mas, to publish the school paper f School Daze J as a money-making project, -to send an article and maybe a picture of our club to the Beta Club Journal, and to have students serve as substitute teachers. A highlight for all Beta members is the con- vention held annually in Roanoke or Rich- mond.
