Close to You” Theme of Annual Prom Following a unique buffet-style banquet sponsored by the senior class, the 1971 Junior-Senior Prom was held on April 24. The Laugharn cafeteria, site of the annual dinner and dance, was decorated in shades of burgundy and pink with the ceiling radiating from two silver chandeliers. Highlighting the evening was the crowning of the Prom King and Queen, Philip Garcia and Carol Castaneda.
