MAKE IT WITH WOOL Carol Scott placed third in the district Make It Yourself with Woo1 contest and qualified to go on to the state contest. There she placed ninth in the junior division. Carol m o d els her winning suit before the judges. Cherry completes the test she took after receiving the DAR Good Citizenship Award. DAR AWARD Cherry Overall, Joy Brown, and Clarice Hicks were nominated by the Senior Class for the DAR Award. Cherry Overall was elected from those three by the faculty to receive the Award. SCIE CE AWARD Allan Baker prepared an experiment for the physics class. Senior, Allan Bake r received the Bausch-Lomb Award because he had made the highest grades in science during his four years of high school. Cherry Overall pla c e d first in the Clifton High School Oratorical Contest and went on to receive hon- orable mention at the district con- test held at EAJC.
