We gained new friends am started on the path of learning. Those memories of our primary and elementary days will always be with us. Seventy-six freshmen will never forget the thrilling initiation day. After the initiation assemblj the class white-washed the C on Shannon Hill. That evening we attended a swimming party given in our honor. Our officers that year were as follows: President, Tommy Kepplerg Vice President, Joi Graves, and Secretary-Treasurer, Emma Garza. The next spring, as sophomores, we initiated the freshmen and gave them a swimming party. Thi officers for that year were as follows: President, John Traynorg Vice President, Tommy Kepplerganf Secretary-Treasurer, Michael Monsegur. In our junior year we received our class rings, and in the spring we were invited to attend the Junior Senior Banquet. Following the banquet we gave a Prom, using the theme Sidewalks of Paris. Mem bers chosen for Boys' and Girls' State were Judy Baker, Beverly Danennauer, Michael Monsegur, an Tony Saenz. As officers we elected: President, Tommy Kepplerg Vice President, Joe Gravesg Sec retary, Evangeline Lopez, and Treasurer, Alice Reel. In the early fall of '56 there were sixty-one seniors resuming studies for their last year at C,H,E We were led by these officers: Pr e sident, Tommy Kepplerg Vice President, Virginia Jaquezg an Secretary-Treasurer, Emma Garza. The sponsors were Mr. Millard Sargent, Miss Minnie Meyer and Mr. Robert Pavlich. We shall remember such events as Senior Day at Tucson, Ditch Day, th Junior-Senior Play, Banquet, and Prom. 'IO
