'-lik X FUREWORD As WE, THE CLASS OF 1953, turn to say a last farewell to Clifton High School, we glimpse once more its lofty portico. We now realize that our years in school al- ready are memories of which these stately columns are a part-a most important part. To each of us they hold a different meaning. They may serve merely as a landmark, or they may signify the mental, moral, physical, and social development throughout our high school years. How- ever, to many of us they symbolize one of the greatest blessings of God - Democ- racy. But, whatever our thoughts, these columns have become a part of our lives, representing four never-to-be-forgotten years. Page Tune
