Seniors Feast On Ham Senior officers and sponsors sit at the head of the table. The Holiday Inn in Covington, Virginia was the setting of the 1975 Senior Banquet. Mr. Totten gave the invocation which was immediately followed by Telah Lacey’s welcome address. A delicious meal was enjoyed by all, after which Jimmy Leech presented a toast to the girls and Wanda Broady to the boys. Becky Agee then proposed a toast to the men faculty followed by Leonard Tinsley’s thanks to the women faculty for “putting up” with the Class of 1975. Everyone enjoyed a special treat as Rhonda Melton played and sang a song which brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The evening was topped off as each senior was allowed to glance into the crystal ball and read some rather hilarious futures. The evening came to a close as Telah Lacy gave the farewell speech. It was an unforgettable night that the Senior Class of 1975 will always remember. The faculty sure seems to be enjoying a free meal. This is the only time these seniors weren’t talking all year — when they were eating! LEFT: Wanda is joined by all the girls in telling the boys they are “Dyn-o- mite!”
