In past years, the seniors have always dedicated the year- book to one member of the faculty, whom they felt had helped them more than anyone else. This year the seniors have decid- ed to dedicate the yearbook to all of those who have helped to mold us into whom we are now. The faculty. For about the last thirteen years we have attended school; each year meeting new teachers. Probably very few of us ever took the time to tell any of those teachers, “Thank-you for all your time and energy.” So now as seniors, we can look back and see that they deserve some kind of recognition for their help in making us whom we are today. Very soon we will be going off on our own. So now we look back at all our teachers did for us. School teachers were the ones who taught us how to count to one hundred. Teachers were the ones who taught us to say the alphabet and what sounds the letters make. They taught us how to put our letters together to form words. On and on through the years, the words became sentences, sentences became paragraphs, and the paragraphs became essays. All the way up into high school, teachers were teaching us the basics we would need to know for our future. Pretty soon it will be time for us to say, “Good-bye ” to Clifton-Fine and all those associated with it. We have made friends and we promise to come back and visit, but nothing will ever mean more to us then your help, understanding and the sharing of your knowledge. We want to say, “Thank-you for all the little things you did.” Maybe you stayed after school to help that one student who didn’t understand. Maybe there was a time when you stopped what you were doing to help out one of your students. Or we could say “Thank you” to those who were our class advisors, or who were a coach for a sport. We could also thank the teachers that helped us in sixth grade when our camping trip was can- celled becaused of lack of funds. Whatever it was you did, we do apprecate it, and in case we never got to say it before, we have said it now, and will say it again: “THANK YOU!”
