secret ambition is world domination...or maybe Principal. All my blazing Whiz Quiz speed goes to Josh Dickinson. Andrea Palm gets Yearbook Camp (hold your soda). To Niall and Cory I will all those endless streets in Quebec City. Get lost! Lastly, I leave Brandy Averill a walk in the rain. MEMORY: French immersion at Potsdam State, “these Clifton-Fine kids!” ACTIVITIES: Baseball 9; Whiz Quiz 9,10,11,12; Yearbook 12; Photography 12; National Honor Society 11,12; French Club 9,10,11,12; “Funny Dudes” 10. MARK E. RIXON (Rickets) “Nothing is impossible, it just means you have to work harder. The harder you work for something, the more you will appreciate it”. Next year I plan to be starting my first three years of a 3 + 2 Engineering Program with Clarkson at either Oswego or Plattsburg. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I hope to be very well off, owning a midnight blue Porsche 944 Turbo, and have a beautiful wife. My secret ambition is to play professional hockey for the Quebec Nordiques and, in my first year, beat the Montreal Canadiens with a four game sweep in the Stanley Cup Finals. To Stef MacDonald I leave my address and phone number, so she can continue to argue with me constantly. To Pete Hartmann I leave my secrets to hiding things I don’t want people to find. Most of all, I leave everything and anything she wants to Amanda, but especially all my love. MEMORY: All the time spent with Amanda; my fun-filled trips through Madrid- Waddington, and winning 2nd place in the 1987 NY State Midget Tournament. ACTIVITIES: Hockey K-12; Golf 9,10,12; French Club 9,10,12; Drama 11,12; Soccer 9,10,11,12; Senior Play; Who’s Who Among American High School Students 12. CARLOS RENATO DELLA TORRE SANCHES (CARLOS) “You have to regret about the things you have done and not about the things you haven’t done, that means, if you wanna do, do it and regret it, but do it. Next year I’ll go back to Brazil and finish my college or find a college here and study medicine. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: Finishing my specialization in neurosurgery and psychiatry. (Here,in the USA, I hope!) My secret ambition is to travel throughout the world, especially Egypt (the great pyramid) and have an island with my own airport for my jet. I leave my eyes (or look) to Kelly (and a bracelet, too); my smile to Andrea; a kiss and some chocolate to Keratin; my friendship to Tom and Billy; my school pictures (at photography class) to Jay Brass; a wish of good luck in life to everybody and the promise of coming back someday. MEMORY OF MY AFS-YEAR IN STAR LAKE: Everybody’s (or almost everybody’s) friendship. ACTIVITIES: Senior Play; chorus; spending time with friends; offering a friendly shoulder; Photography; French Club. SCOTT MICHAEL SHAW (Speedo) “ Hold on to your dreams; they’re the only things that carry you through life, and make life worth living.” Next year I plan to go to college. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I plan to win the New York State Lotto, retire in Hawaii and soak up all those rays. My secret ambition is to join up with Barb Shene and Tina Peets in their fight to save our young people from the harmful side effects of Mountain Dew and become famous. To Tina Peets I leave my friendship. To Derek LaPlante I leave the ability to stay out of trouble; to Alden Kerr I leave my poster collection. To Mike Parvese I leave my fake I.D. To my brother Todd I leave NOTHING, because I’ve always been selfish, so why changing now? MEMORY: The sixth grade camping trip, great friends, and all the great times I had. “I don’t know about you... but I’m out of here!!!” ACTIVITIES: Wrestling 9,10,11,12; Photography; Yearbook. BARBARA MARIE SHENE Take your time, think a lot, think of everything you’ve got for you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not.” My plans for next year are to go to college and major in English. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I’ll teach at Clifton- Fine, and stop girls from smoking in the bathroom. My secret ambition is to sky-dive from an airplane, have 15 children, and to help Scott Shaw warn America of the dangers of red markers. I leave to Kerry Davenport my position as president of life. To Brian Thivierge my sock drawer (she'll never think to check there for your chew). To Tom Nulty my ability to get below a 90 on a regents, and that special number, 85”; to Erin Nulty a piece of Coke, and my permission to walk guardrails, to Kelly Woods, the quietness and shyness my sister left me that I never used, and to my best friend Cassie, memories of our phone calls, and that long.long- ,walk, a clean nightgown, our cassettes, a baby snake, those special pages of my diary, and a big thanks for being a great friend. MEMORY: French trip ’87, French Immersion, good times with Maryanne, Jack, Honnie, Pat, Vanna, Jessica and the whole crew. ACTIVITIES: Soccer 9,10,11; Basketball 9,10,12; Class Officer 9,11,12; French Club 9,10,11,12; Student Council 11; Talented Junior 11; Drama 12; Chorus 9,10,11; Who’s Who Among American High School Students. KERSTIN SCHILLINGS (Kiki) Remember m ; remember e . Put it together and remember 'me.'” Next year I’ll go back to Germany and finish my high school in two years. IN TEN YEARS: I want to live somewhere in America, be married and have a nice little son named Jeremy Carsten! My secret ambition is to travel to all the countries I like (Australia, New Zealand, South America, etc.). I leave to Andy the ambition to talk till 3:30 a.m.; I wish you two more wonderful years at C-F. (See you again at your graduation.) I leave Katie her old bedroom; I leave Jim the mouse, the bear or whatever it is. I leave Miss Reynolds the ability to see the future for the boys’ varsity soccer games. To Derek Benjamin I leave all my love. To Josh I leave all the carrots I didn’t need-you can have them! And I leave everybody a big thanks for this great year and all the memories I can take with me back to Germany, especially ‘thank you’ to my family and to Michael!! MEMORIES: I remember most about my great AFS year in Star Lake all the time spent with Mike, the walk to the lake, my wonderful family, when we sang with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, great friends, Miss Reynolds’ Reisverschluss , every single soccer game; being scorekeeper for the varsity boys, all the senior activities we had; my English classes with Barb, and a great girl name Appie; our great times (thanks so much for all) and “Well, it’s difficult to explain. MICHAEL TODD St. LOUIS (Scapie) Don’t worry about life, it will always go on for the good and who said life is fair. BFD!” Next year I plan to go to college, to be a model maker and draftsman. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: Married, 2 year old boy and my own model making business. My secret ambition is to go back in time and see the Woodstock concert. To Kelly I leave the ability to get out of any sticky situation without getting burnt. To Andrea I leave a lifetime supply of Helium, because when you come down, you find out the world stinks. To Bill I leave my left foot, because you need it worse than I do. To Harry I leave a rain coat for the next time you are sitting in front of Roy and to Tina I leave my Halo. To Keratin I leave all my love. MEMORY: All the times with Keratin in my Senior year. ACTIVITIES: Drama 12; Senior Play; Soccer 12, Second Team All-Northern. JAY ALLEN TERRY Don’t let things get you down.” Next year I plan to be in the Navy, attending college and working in my chosen field. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I plan to be highly paid and flying jets over Russia. My secret ambition is to live on a forgotten island with thousands of naked women, fulfilling my everyday needs. To Brian Eddy (or whoever wants her) I leave my sister Tina. To the rest of the unfortunate souls left in C-F-C-S, I leave the right to be disciplined and to be segregated against in the Senior Play. MEMORY: The 6th grade camping trip, graduation. ACTIVITIES: Soccer 9,11,12; Wrestling 9,10,11,12; Baseball 9,10,12; French Club 9,10. LESLIE LYNN THIVIERGE (Superpickle) “Life is like a canvas, put as much paint on it as you can.” Next year I plan to be in college at Plattsburg. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I plan to be married, have one child and be teaching the deaf. My secret ambition is to be a cop and fight crime with Cagney Lacey. I leave my ability to be quiet at the right time to my brother Brian. To Andrea P. I leave my ability to get four fouls but not foul out (most of the time). To Cassie I leave the ability to have a great senior year, have fun! To Matt and Tara I leave these words “Try to do your best, but have fun doing it.” MEMORY: Going on the French Trip. Remember the long talk we had in the bathroom, Barb and Holly. Hey Holly, get out of my bed. ACTIVITIES: Basketball9,10,11,12; Yearbook 9,10,11,12; Photogra- phy 10,11; Class Officer 11,12; French Club 9,10,11,12; Talented Juniors ; Chorus 9,10,11,12; Who’s Who Among American High School Students. MARYANNE TROMBLEY (MAR) The world never meets anyone ‘half-way.’’’ Next year I plan to attend Canton ATC College. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: Hopefully I’ll still be single and living the wild-life in New York City. My secret ambition is to go back and live the life in woodstock” with J.P. To Andrea I leave all the memories we shared, when we seemed to be unseparable. To Cory P. I leave the one question I never got the answer to: “Who cut your hair? and our B-wheeler scare.. MEMORY : The 4 Musketeers (Me, Barb, Jack, Honnie); we really had a lot of great times. Huh, Barb!? and Hope on the French Trip when we couldn’t keep it down before we got 60 miles away from the school. ACTIVITIES: Cheering 9,10,11,12; Chorus 9,10,11,12; Senior Play. MELINDA WEBER (MINDY) “Memory is the power to gather roses in the win- ter.” A year from now I plan to be going to some University of Technology some- where. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I hopefully will be out of college, with a masters degree in chemistry, holding a good job. My secret ambition is for Paul and me to be together and happy for the rest of our lives. To Andrea Sayyeau I leave nothing, not one little thing at all (told you, Pange!). To Cassie Davenport I leave a pencil and a BIG eraser for Math 12. ACTIVITIES: Chorus 9,10,11; French Club 9,10. KaLEANNA ANN WOODARD (Short @ $%; Kalinka) “I am master of all I survey. Nobody will make me a slave.” Next year I plan to be married, living in Rochester, with my beautiful baby girl, Darbie Ann. TEN YEARS FROM NOW: I wish to have another baby(boy) Kurstin Joseph. Also I wish to work with children, who are either mentally or physically handicapped. My secret ambition is to go to Walt Disney with Darbie Ann. To my sister Marne I leave Todd. To my brother I leave the fun on the sixth grade camping trip. Loren don’t give up, and you too will make it to a senior. MEMORY: The sixth grade camping trip, the last dance with Gerald Tyler. ACTIVITIES: Soccer 9,10; Chorus 9,10,11; Band 9,10. CRAIG HARRISON WOODS (Woodie) If you don’t have any goals, there is nothing to shoot for! Next year I plan to be attending Hartwick or Utica College and pursuing a career in actuarial science. Of course, playing golf and basketball, too. TEN YEARS: I plan to be living a rough life in Florida, playing golf, working as my own boss and making about $450,000 a year. My secret ambition is to be on the PGA tour in the spring and summer and be in the NBA in the winter, making MILLIONS. To Angela LaRose I will a lonely walk to Diana's house! Have fun! To Bill I leave my “new Brockport sweatshirt, also my coordination. MEMORY: Mrs. Sherman's room with Vito. Also, winning the international foul shooting contest when I was twelve. ACTIVITIES: Golf 9,10,11,12, All-northern first team 11,12; Basketball 8,9,10,11,12; Soccer 9,10,11,12, All-northern first team 12; Class Officer 11; Senior Class President; Drama 12; Yearbook business manager 12.
