But actually we weren't; we were at the very bottom again. Seventh grade was a time for another change. We were more independent, we no longer had to walk in a sin- gle file line, and best of all we could finally chew gum! (bet that put a smile on Penny Salisbury's face) This grade was full of sur- prises. There was always a bit more homework than the year before and even the report cards were different. Instead of getting three, we got four. This was also the year when many students became involved in sports and other activities. 28 7th Grade
