Dedication We, the MOUNTAIN ECHO staff, dedicate this, the thirty-second volume, to Mrs. Carolyn Twyman. Mrs. Twyman graduated from Crane School of Music in 1953. She taught at Mineville Central School, Mannsville Central School, Ticonderoga Cen- tral School, and Edwards Central School until 1970, at which time she started teaching here at Clifton- Fine. Mrs. Twyman has taught both vocal and instru- mental music at all levels. She has directed, per- formed and acted in both musical and dramatic stage productions. She has participated in community musi- cal groups, such as church choir, barber shop, and community chorus. Here at Clifton-Fine, Mrs. Twyman is active in the teachers association. She also directed and played in the pepband. We thank her for adding a little spirit to those home basketball games. Mrs. Twyman, it is difficult to express what your dedication has meant to us as seniors. You got us go- ing, when the hope had almost disappeared. You stayed right behind us and spurred us on, until we finally reached our goal. Thank you so much for your dedication to our class and for making music a part of our school. 2
