 We the class of 1970, village of Star Lake, State of New York, do on this day, make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament: To the Board of Education, the ad- ministration, and the faculty, the Class of 1970 leaves the marches we never got organized, the demonstra- tions we never held, the buildings we did not burn - with the hope that future problems can be solved with mutual understandings ... • To the Juniors we leave the glow of being a Senior and the responsibility for planning all those dances. To the Sophomores, we leave you the opportunity to get weekends for dances from the Juniors. To the Freshmen we leave a long hard road with our best wishes! To the Underclassmen (especially the 7th graders) we leave our sales- manship and smiling faces in selling all those magazines (it's sportsman- ship that counts). Class Prophecy It is the year 1990; all the members of the class of '70 are gathered together in the cafeteria for our alumni banquet. Let's find out what everyone has been doing since graduation ... MARIE AND MARTHA VALLIER were married shortly after graduation and are both the proud mothers of twins. ELAINE PEABODY is still spending her time at Twin Lakes and the wrestling matches ... Hang right in there, Elaine. DEBBIE GRECO is now sole owner of Greco's Department Store. We hear business is good. TERRY HANLEY is now taking ballet lessons between football and basketball practice. That footwork really helps. MARSHA POMERVILLE is modeling nylons for Hane's Inc. The Great Hane's Leg. MIKE BULLARD is now starring in the new Broadway production of Legend of Sleepy Hollow as Ichabod Crane. STEVE BARTLETT is still up to his old tricks of gazing into the mirror and talking to himself ... Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who's the nicest of them all???!!!. MIKE LALONDE is a driving instructor at C.F.C. S., we hear his past experiences have really helped. DARLA PATTERSON couldn't make it, but last report shows the twelth is on the way. Cheaper by the dozen?? SUE CRARY came to our alumni banquet with only 4 rangers. MARK DECORA is now president of the Pepsi- Cola Company ... Your senior experience must have really helped. LYNN AKEY cooks in the Campbell kitchens; we hear the bean soup is extra good. CATHY FINCH is now in the bird seed business ... She has a catchy little jingle that goes twee t-twee. ROBERT WHITMORE our shy one, is now heading a chain of Playboy Clubs. He always liked rabbits. We heard MAURICE IAQUINTA is the head of a new band called Me, Myself and I ; next week the name will be I, Myself and Me. MICHAEL O'LEARY returned to Ireland and now is a leprechaun searching for the pot of gold. You'll find it someday, Mike!! BILL GEBO has made himself a fortune installing parking meters at 12 Cedars. We hear the hours are from 9 P.M. to 2 A.M. and Scott Taylor is still a steady customer. JUDY FORKEY has taken over the role of Smokey the bear. And is working with the Rangers. BARB BILLINGS has set up her own modeling agency in Cranberry Lake. Business is slow, but she has a good time. BERT DEMMONS, with his 15 kids, has bought Shene's house. LUCIA DOS SANTOS is now an English teacher in Rio de Janeiro. HOPE DEMMONS with her varied talent in Homemaking, is now the proud owner of 3 children, 6 frogs, 4 spiders and 2 snakes. PAUL LAPLANTE has just been awarded the 30 years service medal for waiting on table in Chap- pell’s. Congratulations Paul!!! LORRIS SMITH is now a truant officer for C.F.C.S. ... no one can skip school because Lor- ris sure knows all the tricks!! ROY DAMAN, as chief engineer, is holding the light bulb for Ford commercials. LORRAINE FLOYD is now giving mandolin les- sons in the upstairs storeroom. VIOLA FULLER is head nurse at C. F. C. S. VALERIE GORR is now the private secretary of Aristotle Onassis. We hear that there's a divorce pending. KEENAN REMELE has taken over classes in American History. Back when I was in the Merchant Marines. CHRITINE HITCHMAN has now taken over Dan Blocker's role on Bonanza. She rides a mean hoss?? NORMAN HUMBLE is president of the Humble Oil Company. Business is really booming. 31
