Smeby 22 JOHN BILLINGS When the death of John Billings occurred we all felt a lot of grief and we were just in feeling so. But we should all realize that God had a good purpose in doing so. It was to teach us to appreciate life when we have it. So in memoriam to Jack, for such a short life, we should try to live ours to the fullest. His small stature, his jet-black hair, even the little devil on his arm blended into an attractive appearance, from which emanated a winsome personality and friendly spirit. Therefore, with mingled feelings of grief and pride, we, the class of nineteen hundred and sixty-eight give this section in memoriam tojames Terry whose life, brief in span, was well lived. dm WiB We, the class of 1968, village of Star Lake, state of New York, do on this day, make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. DOLORES McEATHRON leaves her rollers from Vocational school to MIKE MARRIAM. I guess there is a knack to it, Mike ! ! KEN BOYD leaves his nonchalant attitude to BRENT BULLOCK and JAMES BRICKEY. Let us see what the members of the class of 1968 are now doing. ELWYN LASHUA is now sole proprietor of the Lashua Bait and Fruit Shop . We hear the worms outnumber the bananas. LA VAIN MAC CUE is now a seamstress in Fine. We hear she really cuts a mean rag. SHARON FOSTER, now Mrs. Hamilton, is now an outstanding citizen in the growing me- tropolis of Edwards. BRENDA MAZUROSKI is now head of Hirshey Motor Sales in Harrisville. I hear she has lots of business. AUDREY BOGNAR is now a well-known psychiatrist in Newton Falls. Her most mixed-up patient is LINDA TENNANT. It seems Linda's trouble is based on the desertion of her 7th hus- band. Sounds like she hasn't changed. LYNN BECKMAN and BONNIE SMITH have gone into business together as postmistresses of the Cranberry Lake P.O. Seems they are very efficient and have a good record of reading all the mail going through. GAIL WENDT has opened up a nursery school in N.Y. City. I hear she has taken Capt. Kangaroo's place. KEN BOYD is now head mechanic for the Indianapolis 500. The cars certainly run different- ly than they did 10 years ago! DEBBIE SCHUYLER had finally taken over school nurse position and is advisor. She gives everybody a shot! WALT REMELE is now Chief pilot of Remele's Airlines. SUSAN ABERCROMBIE is now a certain somebody's co-pilot. We hear they are really flying high. STUART SMEBY is now English 12 teacher at Clifton-Fine. The first-hand training sure came in handy, didn't it! RICK ARNOLD is now head man at Fort Knox. CATHY KYER is now Secretary of the Treasury of the U. S. Funny thing with the men at Fort Knox, they are really making the money. BILL HANLEY is now Editor of Playboy magazine. He says his experiences with women in high school comes in handy. MELANIE DECOTEAU is now head cook at the Ranger School. Mr. Kring, the headmaster, is quite pleased with her work. GARY ADAMS has taken over Charlie's Barber Shop. Mr. Miranda is a regular customer for a trim. DIANA THORNTON is finally chief cook and bottle-washer at the Gore household. ROSIE STOWELL is now secretary of defense. Her motto, as in high school, is All's fair in love and war . GAIL WATSON is now the wife of the minister of the Baptist Church in Oswegatchie. I hear his sermons are really shocking and colorful! JEAN SHENE isn't Jean Shene anymore, and at the last count we heard she had 24 kids. I guess she was trying to break her mother's record! JEANNE FOLSOM is now the wife of the manager of the I.G.A. I hear the business is really booming! CHRIS RILEY is now supervising principal of C.F.C.S. My how things have really chang- ed! Working with him is JOHN DURHAM, as secondary supervisor. Seems these boys have really got the school jumping. STEPHEN MARSH has taken Jackie Gleason's place on t. v., and oh, how sweet it is! JERRY DURHAM is now famous for his large dairy farm in Oswegatchie. It seems he owes his success to his chocolate cows! GARY CHRISTIAN is still seen wandering around Benson Mines, lonesome for his old school days. LEROY SIMMONS is now owner of the Marlboro Company. He sends the former secondary supervisor a carton of cigarettes every Christmas. HARRY WATSON is a salesman for Marlboro Company. He comes around every noon hour and makes a huge profit. DOLLY SMITH is still seen walking down the Windfall road. Seems she is looking for something she lost down there. DOLORES MCEATHRON is now a hair dresser in Oswegatchie. GARY MARTIN teamed up with Twiggy in England. They’re famous all over the world. STEVE REYNOLDS is now a truck driver for the Newton Falls Paper Co. He goes through Star Lake every day, just to beep the horn. SHARRON PRICE is now a regular singer on the Ed Sullivan Show. LYNN MC CARTHY is now a Sunbeam car salesman. JAMES BRIGGS is now a typist in the school office. MARGARET DAVYY is head librarian at C.F.C.S. JAMES SHENE and GERALD TERRY now run a grocery store in Fine.
