Class Will We, the Class of 1957, village of Star Lake, State of New York, do on this day, make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. To the FACULTY we leave our sincere thanks for the patience and understanding you have given us during our school years. To the JUNIORS We leave our seats in the auditorium and twelfth grade homeroom. You'll have to take good care of them because they went through so much this year. To the SOPHOMORES we leave our good times. We had many of them!! To the FRESHMEN we leave our well-used books-if there is anything left of them after our wear and tear of four years!! ! To MR. MCSWEENY we leave a class which promises not to sneak ahead in the lunch line. To MISS LEASE we leave a large size pillow, so she can see over the steering wheel of her car. To MR. REYMAN we leave our many thanks for trying to make actors and actresses out of us. To MRS. PARRISH we leave only students born in Rome for her Latin classes. To MR. BERO we leave our appreciation for the guid- ance that he has given us throughout our school years. FRED ADAMS leaves JOAN TRUDO a good-looking boyfriend to take his place. WAYNE AKEY wills his World Series pool to LEE LA ROSE. Now, Lee, you can add it to your own collection! SYLVIA BABCOCK leaves her typing speed to CHARLES COTE. We hope you can keep the machine running long enough to do as well as Sylvia, Charlie!! JERRY BEMUS wills his Elvis sideburnsn to TOMMY GOLDEN. Keep 'em growing, Tom! MARG BRADLEY bequeaths her most flattering freckles to SUDENNE GRAMMO. She guarantees they won't rub off!! TOM CAUFIELD leaves his ability to Hborrowl' a draft card to GEORGE HARRISON. We hope you have the good luck Tom did, George! WILSON CLARKE, author of the best-seller How to Copy and Not Get Caught, leaves his writing ability to TOM GRIFFIN. To DAVID HADDOCK, BERTA COLE wills her quiet- ness and ability to stay out of trouble. David is in great need of them both! With fond hopes of drumming up business, LEONARD COTE wills a dollaris worth of gas to WINFORD PATTERSON. Now, Winford, you can stop robbing Lover's bank for gas money. BETH DORAN leaves her knack for driving without a license and not being caught by the state trooper to LEANNE ROBINSON. JIM FLINT leaves his harem to all the Junior boys. There probably will be some left for the sophomores, too! ! ! ANDY HALLORAN wills his Chemistry notebook to DAVID BROWN. Andy hopes that David will take at least one look at it. LAURA HAZELTON leaves her worn spot on the swing- ing bridge to JOAN LAGO and MARIE THIVIERGE. Carry on now, girls!! BECKY HUNKINS wills her hanging can-can to SHARON NOLAN. Even though it showed, it was real cool, Bee!! I8 LILLIAN ISEREAU leaves her ability to drive well to LIZ BRADLEY! Herels hoping Liz will drive better than Marg does! DONA KERR wills her height of 5' I equally to DONNA STEVENS and AUDREY BOGARDUS!! GARY LA PLANTE wills his ability to sneak ahead in the lunch line without getting caught- only some- times -to KARL FAIRBANKS!! ROBERT LENNON leaves his dancing ability to ED McBROOM. Now, Ed and Bob can rock around the I.G.A. together. To JUDY MAXWELL, we leave BOB MONTYIS wit to brighten up the study halls! SYLVIA MORRIS regretfully wills her sleeping pills, to be taken before each class, to MARY TITUS. Now, Mary won't have such a hard time staying awake! PAT MORROW wills her favorite book, How to Land a Man With Just One Lookll to Patricia Miller. Pat has proved it works! ANN MARIE OWENS wills one hour per week to DONNA and DORIS HOGAN so they can date the Rangers. Your seats at the Coffee Shop are reserved, so go to town, kids!!! PHYLLIS PATNODE leaves her sweaters to ELONA BENCHIK so Loni can cover up the holes in her blouses the way Phyllis did. FRANK PEABODY wills his ability to skip school and get a legal excuse to MERRILL WHITE. We hope you also get a deer, Merrill!!! To KAPPY EHLERS we leave SALLY PERSSON'S private telephone so the neighbors can use the phone once in a while! BARB POMERVILLE and CAROL SLATE leave their package of Lifesavers to NANCY THOMSEN so she can eat them in study hall the way they did. We quote what Barb and Carol said, 'They keep one from getting hungry before lunch? EL REED wills her ability to write a good composition to MARY POMERVILLE. Now you wonlt have com- position bluesv any more, Mary! DAN RILEY leaves a round trip ticket to Ireland to SALLY O'CONNOR who, we understand, was born in France??? LARRY RIVERS bequeaths his physics lab book to NORMA JONES with sincere wish that she will under- stand it better tlfan he did! JIM ROBERTSON wills his scientific gadgets to JIM McEATHRON. Please be careful, Jim M., because every since he and Harlen mixed some chemicals, Harlen has been singing, 'glt Only Hurts a Little While. HELEN SABER leaves her ability to lure out-of-town boyfriends to BARB JANACK. Maybe Helen will let you in on her secret for success! JANET SMITH leaves her pony tail to KITTY HAL- LORAN. It was real cool, man, real cool!!! LOIS TRUDO leaves her Chemistry book and all her unfinished assignments to PAT LATHAM, MYRTLE MILLS and JOYCE MUDGETT. It will take all three of you to get them done! HARLEN WOOD' leaves his ability to make you laugh and then look innocent to LAVERNE KERR. FRED ADAMS-Fred is now the proprietor of the world famous Old Soaks Hotelf, We understand busi- ness is foaming! WAYNE AKEY- Bing and Elvis', seem to have faded from the limelight-so now Wayne is the top crooner. He does especially well from 2 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. SYLVIA BABCOCK-Sylvia had planned to be an ex- pert beautician-maybe go to N. Y. or Hollywood. Well, she is in N. Y. and guess what? She's an expert bur- lesque dancer! ! ! GEARALD BEMUS-There seems to be some sort of turmoil . . . Jerry just parked his supersonic 608 horse- power convertible fBemusmobilej in the parking lot. Jerry, who became the King of the 'Speedway at the age of 19, is considered the most daring of men since Lucky Teeterf' MARGARET BRADLEY-Marg has just returned from the chamber of the Supreme Court in Washington, D. C., where she sued her husband for non-support for her- self and her nine children!!! THOMAS CAUFIELD-Tomis fondest dreams are at last realized . . . he is the newly elected mayor of the city of Kobbler's Knob. It was formerly known as the State Road. WILSON CLARKE-This is the class member of whom we are most proud . . . he has overcome his habit of blushing and is now the President of the U.S.! !! BERTA COLE-Berta is living in Nevada . . . quite near Reno. We believe she is busy keeping her men straight. Last year she had two husbands and this year she has landed a new one!!! LEONARD COTE-Len is the new principal of CFC. He has many reforms in mind for the comfort of the students. One is . . . school will be held once a week from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.! ELIZABETH DORAN-Beth has become a lawyer. She was in Seattle, ,Washington, defending one of her old boyfriends, W. Lashua, who was charged with reckless driving. JAMES FLINT-Jim is an actor in Hollywood. He can currently be seen in Nervous Nellie. ANDREW HALLORAN-Now, when you tune in the Hound,,' you can hear Andy as the new replacement -the Hounddogger. LAURA HAZELTON-Laura is quite a success in the music world. She is the director of Philharmonic Orchestra. REBECCA HUNKINS-Becky has finally graduated from nursing school. She is at a famous mental institu- tion and we understand that she feels right at home! LILLIAN ISEREAU-Lil is the holder of the Women's Middleweight Wrestling Title and she has just signed an exclusive contract with her new husband, Bob Streeter. CYNTHIA JARVIS-Cindy received an award for be- ing the fastest mud packer employed by The Peabody Cosmetic Co. DONA KERR-Dona, the former Queen of the hot rod racers, is now the proud owner of the Lake Road Speedway. SARAH PERSSON-Sally has completed her course at Syracuse University. Her famous book, Peculiar Eating Habits, was written from personal experiences at college. BARBARA POMERVILLE-Barb, world renowned man hunter, has returned to N. Y. with her latest specimen, a Martian. It is now on exhibit in the Clifton Fine Museum of Screwballsf, ELEANOR REED-El is married and the mother of five children. Her better half is a research chemist who works in Paris. DANIEL RILEY-Dan resides in the Blue Grass Coun- try with the winnings his horses bring him. We should also mention his hobby . . . poker games. He seems to be hauling in the moola fast and furiously. LAWRENCE RIVERS-Larry, another celebrity from our class, has recently signed an exclusive contract to play Tarzan in a new motion picture series. HELEN SABER-Helen flew in from Miami for the reunion. We understand that she collects rich and hand- some husbands. At present she is living with No. 4. GARY LAPLANT-Gary has finally seen his dream come true. He is the sole owner of the Hawley Funeral Home. Now, he only has to step across the street for the pause that refreshes. ROBERT LENNON-Bob, always a suave, debonair man about town, has decided to give it all up and take the fatal step into 'fholy monotony. ROBERT MONTY-Bob, the founder and president of the Monty Pinball Machine Co.,,' is reported to have a million dollar business. Bob is up to his old trick of skipping work-not school-to get his deer. SYLVIA MORRIS-Sylvia has been promoted to head mattress tester for Slumberwell Mattresses, Inc. She claims that mattresses are getting bigger and better. PATRICIA MORROW-Pat, N. Y.'s leading fashion de- signer, has just announced that the new spring fashions feature ankle-length hooped skirts and six petticoats. ANN MARIE OWENS-Ann is now a famous stocking model. She is the only girl ever to have only her legs on the cover of both Life and Look',! PHYLLIS PATNODE-Phyl holds the national cham- pionship title in bowling. We can't understand how she manages to bowl since she is the proud mother of three sets of twins. FRANKLIN PEABODY-Frank, a famous jockey, will start his summer season in the Windy City. He will ride Beetle Bomb, the sweepstakes winner. CAROL SLATE-Carol married soon after graduation. She has an unique hobby now, and she is probably the most respected woman in the U.S. You know her as Twitty Youngbloodf, the manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers. JANET SMITH-,lan is now in the WAVES, and she is serving on a hospital ship. A patient on the ship is Art Ploof. We hear that their romance is still burning. LOIS TRUDO-Lois has completed her course at Notre Dame. She is now employed as the official coach of the Navy football team. We understand she is the best liked member of the squad. HELENA WATSON-Lyn, the well known singer of western songs, is now the partner of Webb Pierce in both private and public life. Her most famous recording is Eat, Drink, and Be Merryf' HARLEN WOOD-Harlen is now active in foreign af- fairs. He is our chief ambassador to Treasure Island, and he is doing quite well with the pirates. JAMES ROBERTSON-,lim announced that he will soon open his new atomic laboratory at the foot of Mt. Fudgy Pudge. I9
