WKQW We, the class of 1955, village of Star Lake, State of New York, claiming to be of sound mind and body, do on this date, make this our last will and testament. To the Board of Education, we leave the school building, furniture, and faculty with our permission to use them as long as they endure. We do bequeath to all our beloved teachers lasting and well earned peace, now and forever. To the Juniors we will our leadership in activities. To the Sophomores we will our knowledge of government. To the Freshmen we leave our ability to charm the faculty. Max Backus leaves his height to Norris Reed and Wendell Lashua. He has enough for both of them! Burt Shene wills his way with the girls to Lowell Kerr and Harold Boyd. Hope they have as much success as he had! Joanne Scruton leaves her liveliness to Roger Thomas. Put it to good use, Roger!! Anne Marie Burns leaves her ability to talk in Health Class to Anne Clarke and -Kathyrn LaPlante. Use it wisely girls! Janet Rushmore wills her gym shoes to Vesta Peabody. We know she will fill them well! Homer Thievierge leaves his night life to the owls. Mary Ellen Nolan leaves a year's supply of chewing gum to Cecile DeLair and Suzan Yaddow. Let's hope you girls don't get caught! James DeLair leaves his Toni to Art Ploof. lt's a super Toni ! Una May O'Connor wills her Wanakena Coffee Shop table, complete with Rangers to Nona Barden. Clayton Boula wills his copy of How to Keep a Steady to Jimmy Smith. Of course, Jimmy this only applies to one steady! Carol Anne Bemus leaves her ability to spell and write plainly to George Persson and William Burns. What a relief to all the teachers!! Nelson Lawrence leaves his ability to roam the halls to Betty Babcock. Hope she gets away with it as he did. Jeanne Trombley leaves her 5-year diary to Linda Smith. Maybe, they can compare notes!! Dan Cahill wills his car to Phyllis Boni so she will get to school on time. Marjorie Adams wills her quiet ways to Thelma King. Let's not be too quiet! James Mucenski leaves his height to Merlin Foley. Now Merlin won't have to iump so much in the basketball games. Eloise Hitchman leaves her even temperament to Evelyn Kelley-NOT that she needs it?? James Phelps wills his favorite book, How to Annoy Teachers Just by Your Looks to Tim Forkey. Rose Marie Martin leaves her cheerful personality to Donna Bassette. Let's use it, Donna!!
