Fifty years ago the air age was nothing more than a fantastic dream. But today it is upon us and we are being ushered into a world fraught with staggering potentialities for good and evil. Tomorrow, therefore, will demand of us something vastly more important than the ability to manipulate all that we have created. Youth today has before it frontiers to conquer as dificult as any that have existed in the past. Only by the application of our best efforts can we hope to survive and use our potentialities for the good life. To live in a world growing smaller each day with rocket bombs, dive bombers, radar, and remote con- trols of all sorts will require of us qualities of spirit and intelligence of the highest order. In the development of these qualities home, church, school, and community must have as one of their major objectives a citizenship which respects the dignity and worth of the human personality re- gardless of race, creed or color. To this end we must strive with faith, fortitude, and courage in the war still raging and in the peace to come. L. R. JOHNSTON Principal e4 DR. LEMUEL Left to right: William M.
