Achievements: Friendliness Cur Finest' Qualify 077' y 1 , it.. Achievement and progress are key elements within a school that build pride and character. I knew the very day I arrived at C.I-I. Smart that there was outstanding potential within the stu- dent body. During the 197778 school year I have been impressed with the achievements of the sports teams, the well classroom projects that have been displayed around the the school social activities which have been attended and at which the behavior and cooperation has been excellent, main- taining a clean cafeteria and showing respect for one another's right to a relaxed, controlled and enjoyable lunch period, The musical talents of the students were always evident as I visited the chorus and band rooms. O .I ,.N Q I could go on and fill pages with the achievements and accom- plishments of our school, but the finest achievement I would like to compliment the students on is their friendliness. Friendliness is a quality that is sometimes forgotten in our society, but at C. H. Smart Junior High it is alive and well and practiced everyday.
