The game that has excited more people around the world than any other has finally made a strong bid in metro Michi- gan. With the Detroit Express, the new Silverdome based soccer team and the many leagues springing up all over, nobody could be happier about it than the Troians ot C.H.S. Why? Because the Trojans know the excitement of the end to end non-stop action, the thrilling one on one matehups, the passes, the kicks, the headers, the saves- 'and the goals, and always, always the teamwork. Both teams had fine seasons as the records show, but more important than winning was the desire just to play. They loved soccer. By seasons end every member on both teams had made a contribution to their team. As any one ot the players would tell you, they only hope to be able to continue with soccer in the high schools. l i Steve Boyd dribbles past an opponent as Bill Shaffer gets set to take a pass. i 69
