Its purpose is five-fold: to promote better relations among C.S.U. women, to encourage scholarship, to facilitate the adjustment of freshman women, to im- prove campus facilities for C.S.U. women and to improve and uphold the reputation of CSU. Many of CO-ED's activities are centered around the freshman women. A handbook entitled CO-ED Communique is published for freshman women. A helping hand tutoring service is available for the purpose of giving aid to those women students who need help in a certain subject. In addition, C0-ED handles the Big-Little Sister program and participates in freshman week. One of CO-ED's most rewarding annual projects comes at Christmas. During the holidays, the girls visit a home for the aged, sing Christmas carols and pass out cupcakes. This according to the girls, is a very gratifying experience. The activities of CO-ED are terminated at the yearis end with a tea given for past, present and future C.S.U. students.
