Miss Helen Bowers, Administrative vice-Principal Voices of Guidance Counsel and guidance is given by the vice- principals in varied but important problems. The advice is given by adults possessing the knowledge not yet acquired by the youth. Disci- pline is another important part of their job which calls for understanding and wisdom. Helping us through the high school years are Miss Bowers, vice-principal, and Mr. William Cray, vice- principal. Miss Maurine Laber, head of the curriculum department, supervised those special classes which are enjoyed by all. Distributive educa- tional enrichment programs and student teachers are under Miss Laber's capable jurisdiction. if . i l 1 l ...t One of Mr. Roy O. Malo's main duties is to sign important papers in behalf of the school. THE CHOICE IS YOURS A prime responsibility of Cleveland, or any other high school, is to guide and stimulate its students so that they will find and effectively develop those abilities and talents necessary .for thetm not only to give worthy service to their community, state, and nation, but to achieve real personal satisfaction. This objective, however, has little chance for success unless each of you utilizes the opportunities available and achieves as much as possible during your high school years. If you are sincereiin your efforts in this direction, the ideals of a nation founded on opportunity for all will continue to be fulfilled The choice is yours. 18 1
