I, Lawrence Niblock, will my ability to skip classes to Dennis McDaniel. I, Evelyn Pinkston, will my basketball uniform, Number 6, to Barbara Wilhelm. I, Ruth Wilhelm, will my intelligence to Eddie Pennell. I, Betty Kepley, will my freckles to Ruby Graham. I, Betty Painter, will my matrimonial vows to Betty Cashion. I, Gilbert Myers, will Irene Wilhelm to Jerry Cauble, because that seems to.be the only way he will get her. To Mr. R.S. Spear, our principal, we leave our deep appreciation for the guidance and friendship which he has given the members of the Class of 1951. By witness thereof, in the presence of Gilbert Myers, Ruth Redman, and Marcella Beeker, I, the Testator have executed and published this Last Will and Testament in the name of this the Senior Class of 1951 of Cleveland High School. Becky Cobb Testator. THE NEW STAGE The curtain opens on this new scene of life; The big world's stage is bare; But now I see a Senior standing there To go he knows not where. He's wondering why he did not use time past That it might be useful now. The curtain closes and the doubtful Senior Stands all alone and sad, Lost in the thoughts of a future huge and dark. Another scene appears with the second Senior, But he's not with folded arms; His face is beaming bright and all is well, Work and play are going on; There are new tasks, new friends --in fact, new life, But none too dull nor hard. He has been trained to face whatever comes, And so he stands not still But starts the upward way that leads to nobler things.
