ADMINISTRATION As we approach the close of another year, we note with satisfaction the achievements of our students, our alumni, and our faculty. We are justly proud of the success of our dramatic presentations, musical programs, and ath- letic participation. We are gratified by the outstanding work of our other departments and by the high standard of scholarship maintained by our students. Democratic leadership has been ably provided by our Girls' and Boys' Clubs and by our Student Council. In every respect this has been a rewarding year, one which has given me a feeling of accomplishment and which will provide all of us with a wealth of pleasant memories. periences enjoyed at Cleveland High School lead to future success for all of its members! RALPH, PRINCIPAL Nestling in the heart of a historical area, made famous by the early pioneer settlers-the Van Asselts, the Maples, and the Holgates-Cleve land High School has grown slowly but steadily. We have seen some small industries across the Duwamish Valley grow into large nationally known institutions. From a class of 29 in the old Georgetown High School of 1907, to a graduating class of 52 in 1928, Cleveland High School's first graduating class, we now see a class of 2-45 in 1960. Cleveland has been more than a high school-Cleveland is a family with a second generation now carrying on the schoolis activities and traditions. They do it with credit to their par- ents and to themselves. May the achievements of the past be a constant inspiration for greater achievement in the future as we move forward in this rapidly moving space age. RAY K. IMUS
