Members of this group serve as the marshals and through their sympa- thetic direction know in just what cadence to keep their followers stepping. Whether in academic or social activity, the teachers set the pace and call the turns so that the movements of the Passing Parade are kept up to Heights High standards. The stu- dents look to these leaders for assistance and guidance-for they know that the faculty are their friends. 14

K Frank L. Wiley E. E. Morley Thoburn Davis Marian L Whifsey Roy M. Flint Hugh V. Perkins Helen K Wallace As you can easily see, this page is devoted to the executives of our school and of our system. At the top are Mr. Frank Wiley and Mr. Thoburn Davis, Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Schools, respectively. Though We don't see much of them, we are grateful for the service they render us in maintaining fine schools throughout the Cleveland Heights system. It is to Mr. E. E. Morley that We owe a smoothly run and Well equipped high school. Miss Helen K. Wallace, though she is dean of girls, is always ready to help a boy with a problem as Well. She is also responsible for many of the school's most successful social affairs. Mr. Roy M. Flint, our under- standing and diligent dean of boys, has the respect of every boy at Heights. Mr. Hugh Perkins, the Army's gift to Heights, is Mr. Flint's extremely able co-Worker. It is he Who makes out the school's schedules and helps Mr. Flint keep our boys on the right path. These are four who help us during our brief stay at Heights, but the one Whose intelligent, sincere, and friendly advice has helped us to choose our programs and make our choice of the right college is Miss Marian Whitsey, our educational counselor. Little do We realize how much we really owe to these seven people. 13? af
