Commencement And Baccalaureate High gba sixty-nigthd Baciglaugeatg and Commencement Exercises of the Clernont c oo were e on D y an Aay 23 respectively. 1cha1kovsky's 'Chanson Trista' was used as the Processional for Baccalau- reate, following which Rev. S. B. Knudsen gave the Invocation. Music for this occasion was furnished by two vocal soloists--Arlene Knudsen, singing 'I will Extol Thee H from the Oratorio Eli 3 and Charles Wagner, who sang the 'Ninety- third Psalm --the Fiixed Double Quartette, presenting 'Build 'lemples Eterna with a soprano solo sung by Arlene Knudsen and flute obbligato played by Cathryn grigeg agdtghesmixed Chgrui, w2ichB:ang 'You'll Never Walk Alone.' Rev. Knudsen e vere e ermon an a so e nediction. Com encement was opened by the Band which presented the two selections used at contest. Following the Processional, 'Pcmp and C1rcumstanco', Rev. E. G. Steinmann gave the Invocat1on.Again two soloists performed3 Cathryn Crove played a flute solo, 'Pan et les Oiseaux' the second movement of 'La Flute de Pan'3and Jo Ann Moore sang 'Spr1ng's Awakenfng.'The Mixed Double Quartette gave an inter- pretation of the inspiring 'Salutation to the Dawn', and the Mixed Chorus sang 'I Believe,' Mr. Arthur Carpenter, Assistant Superintendent in the State Depart- ment of Education delivered the address Tienty seven Seniors were awarded diplo- mas by the President of the School Board, Mr. Max Medberry,after being presented by Superintendent M. H Moore. The Benediction was given by Rev Knudsen.
