Her last sentence is like a banbshell 'I intend to give each one of your girls a check for 55,000. Winnie is considerably diea ointed until he hits upon the idea of dressing up like a girl and getting his 5,000 also. 'lhe day arrives and with it comes Aunt Sophy The Bufordhs soon find that Aunt Sophronia is a very hard person to live with since she finds fault with everything and is never satisfied. The noisy house and other disconcerting events send Aunt Sophronia off in a huffg but just as she is about to leave, she trips over a foot stool and falls injuring her leg. After several days in the hospital, during which she is kindly treated by all the gentle men present, Aunt Sophronia decides that perhaps boys are quite nice after all.
