Stacy Named Sweetheart Stacy Wright and her escort Brent Easdon following the sweetheart presentation. Each year during the Jacket Bowl, the Cleburne basketball team picks a girl they want to represent them as their sweet- heart. This year's Yellow Jacket Basketball Sweetheart is Stacy Wright, a junior. Other nominees were Leslie Mac- Lean, Tena Gibbs and Susan Carson. For the past three years, the Jackets have traveled to Ft. Vvonh for the annuallions Club Tournament. All of the teams competing there enter their sweetheart for the tourna- ment's queen competition. Ngnwwpw... Nw ics., Em Under the excellent coaching of Jeff Cody and Mike Thames, the Cleburne Yellow Jacket basketball team had a super season. With such talent on the court at all times, , whether it was the first five starters or the talent we have to back them up. Steve Harper and X. Warren ' electrified the fans as well as the opposing team with slamdunks. The rest of the team also ignited i cheers from the fans with precise shooting and tough hard pressing defense. The fans played a main part in the success of the team with con- stant cheering and clapping. X. Warren hits a layup. Steve Harper slams one.
