I 5 w W w Superintendent Mr. Ernest E. Guinn has had a long and distinguished career in the Texas Public School System. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Sem- inary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, and continued his education, winning his Masters Degree at Texas University, Mr. Guinn taught for one year at Rockdale, Texas before coming to Cleburne in 1930 to serve as head coach and math and science teacher. He served as Edison housemaster from 1946 to 1948. Mr. Guinn served as principal of Cleburne High School for eight years from 1948 to 1956. Since that time he has served as superintendent of the Cleburne Schools. 9

Principal Mr. R. E, Warren came to the Cleburne High School with many years of experience in the teaching profession. After earning his Bachelor Degree at Howard Payne Col- lege, he went on to win his Masters Degree at Hardin Sim- mons University. Mr. Warren's teaching career was in- terrupted by World War II during which he served in the Air Force. Later he taught at Ranger, Brownwood, and Irving, At Brownwood he served as head coach, and at Irving as principal of a junior high school. Mr. Warren is credited with twenty-two years of teaching. Cleburne High School is proud to have him as our prin- cipal.
