We, the staff, in behalf of the student body and faculty, wish to pay tribute to the memory of a former member of Cleburne High School faculty, Mrs. Ruth P. Archer. Mrs. Archer began teaching in Cleburne High School in 1920-1921 and retired in 1957. During these years she taught English, speech, and journalism. Also she was a sponsor of the Yapper for seventeen years. Always interested in student and faculty welfare, she actively partici- pated in professional organizations. Mrs. Archer will be remembered by many former students and teachers for her loyalty to our school, her kindness to friends, and her pleasure in everyday things. 4
