Dedication Mr. Robert L. Morton A joyous portion of the Senior experience is being able to show respect to this special adminis- trator, Mr. Robert L. Morton. Mr. Morton has been principal here at Cleburne County High School for the past nine years. Prior to that time he was head basketball coach, assistant football coach, and driver education teacher. He holds Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees from Jacksonville State University. Mr. Morton is married to Mrs. Martha Morton and they have one daughter, Marsha. Mr. Morton is dedicated to educational and community activities. He has endeared himself to the students at Cle- burne County High School through his concern for each student as an individual. The Senior Class of 1981 respectfully dedicates this volume of THE TIGER to Mr. Robert L. Mor- ton. 16

Good Citizenship Girl Pearl Cooley DAR Good Citizenship Girl Twelve Years Perfect Attendance Pearl Cooley has been selected DAR Good Citi- zenship Girl by members of the Senior Class and the CCHS Faculty. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Cooley of Route 3, Heflin. Pearl has been elected Miss Tiger and Senior Favorite. She was chosen Most Dependable in the Junior Who's Who and Best All Around in the Senior Who’s Who. She was elected Senior Maid in the Homecoming Court and is a Varsity A-Team Cheer- leader. She is a member of the Annual Staff and is Club Editor on the TIGER TIMES Staff. Pearl is a member of the Student Council, the Pep Club, the Beta Club, the Science Club and the FBLA. She was class secretary during her Junior year. The Good Citizenship Girl is selected on the basis of character, conduct, service to school and leader- ship. Janie and James Butler have been perfect in attendance for the past twelve years. They are the son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler of Route 3, Heflin. 17
