Where we will go can be troubling at times. But the good times — the memories — they will be with us always. In Memory of Tony Lambert Tony Lambert died accidentally on April 16, 1980. The 1980-81 homecoming theme was “Tigers Are Number One All Over the World.” Throughout Homecoming week, students are involved in spirit-raising activities such as bulletin board and door competition; locker decoration competition; a different dress-up idea for each day; decorations for the halls, lunchroom, and auditorium; a bonfire on Thursday night; and a super-enthusiastic Pep Rally on Friday morning. Homecoming activities culminate on Friday night with the pre-game presentation of the Homecom- ing Court, a super performance by the Tiger Band and the Homecoming Game before a packed sta- dium of alumni and students. Finally the enthusiasm winds down to the music at the Homecoming Dance which is held in the auditorium amid an array of magnificent homecoming decorations.
