QUs C:P GpHexij It Is now 1984 and I, the 1974 Tiger, have been away for the last ten years. I have come back to check on the class of 1974, and find the graduates in some very unusual circumstances. Randall Ashley and Mark Vise are co-owners of a manufacturing company. Their specialty is paper airplanes. Danny Bowen now sparks a mustache but still keeps his hand over it from force of habit. Damsels in distress arc in for a real surprise. The chief of police at Howie and Turner's is Keith Turner. Pam Gamer is now the proud mother of four darling Ludolfs. Steven McElroy has become a hair stylist and works for Vidal Sassoon. Linda Yates is hooked on a Snag. Robin is married and lives in an Easterwood Frame house. By George! Melissa Turley now has 10 kids. No one has seen Nina Hughes since she graduated. She lives in seclusion with her Uncle Howard. A new teacher at CCHS is Bobby Jackson. He still never makes it to homeroom. Robbie Gardner is now the manager of Heflin Supermarket. His business is blooming. Melanie Hill and Jennifer Jones each own their own telephone company and now each can have her own telephone boy. Eugene Hollis is now posing as a telephone pole, due to the shortage of wood. Sherry Kerr is the owner of a chain of restaurants called Jack's. Carol Lovvorn has become the first woman judge in Cleburne County history. Elise Nelson is now the Super-Seamstress of Sewell’s. Willie O'Neal is presently the world's fastest tractor driver for Auburn. Sheila Patty has now mastered the Bo and arrow. Doris Pesnell was named the National Model of the Year - modeling for Pee Wee Modeling Agency. Jerry Reid is now the host of his own television show', called The Silent Spot. Lena Smith has a 24-hour nursery that is growing all the time. Paula Brown is the top money w inner in the U. S. Ladies’ Pro-Motorcycle Racing Circuit. Terry Taylor has a world famous horse riding school called Terry Taylor's Training Track. Charles Bachus is now an internationally known bird-dog breeder. Glenda Anthony is now the President's personal typist, typing 999 words a minute. Jimmy Baber is now a famous track star. He gets his practice running after Bimbo on the Chulafinnee track team. Mickey Biggers now fishes every Sunday with Curt Gowdy. Tony Cobb is the new' mayor of Cedar Creek. Freida Cofield is now selling freckles. Leesa Gaither is presently employed at Whitman Sampler Company. Anthony Thompson is now in charge of the Tallapoosa Police Force. Be sure and slow down going through. Betty Williams is now a competent and efficient secretary for a U. S. Senator, Tony Beam. Tony Parkin says he still doesn’t go. James Bearden owns his own auto repair shop in downtown Micaville. Earl Hightower is a barber who specializes in care of the naturally curly locks. One of his best customers is motorcycle manufacturer Floyd Smith. Ronald Brown is the new mayor of Fruithurst, the new councilman is Charles Driggers, and the chief of police is Tommy Ray. Robbie Goodman has just finished installing the air conditioning system at the Cleburne County Dog Track. Rose Grubbs is now the President of the Hollis Branch Bank of Heflin. She is employing twelve VICA students as tellers, cashiers and security guards. Glenn and Lynn Smith arc married to identical twins and each family has two sets of identical tw ins to further confuse the world. Henry Stephens is still pulpwooding in Randolph County, but five days a week instead of three days, like he did in high school. Joy Jordan took advantage of her VICA training and is now Probate Judge of Cleburne County. Matthew Wood is currently operating an Advice to the Lovelorn agency to mend the hearts he has broken. Marie Voss is now an airline hostess on the Alaska to Brazil flight. William and Cecil Baker arc now a comedy team - William and Cecil - providing entertainment for bus riders from coast to coast. Denise Cobb now owns her own chain of restaurants. Her prosperity has brought her a new Volksw agen. Terry Cates is now taking shorthand at 1000 words a minute. She is Mrs. Daugherty's pride and joy. Dora Ervin is modeling at the Magnolia Room at Rich's. Barbara Hollis is now' a seamstress for the first lady in Washington. She just finished her first inaugural gown.

Debbie Riddle has become the country's most renowned hairstylist. Judy Sprayberry is a study hall teacher. She gained her experience in three study halls during her Senior year. Vickie Thomason is now plant supervisor for Sewell’s ff-1. Bobbie Jo Walker is a secretary to the forest ranger in the Talladega National Forest. She spends her off hours snipe hunting. Paula Wynn is now owner of a chain of Union 76 Truck Stops. Danny Henry has just written a book - Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder - From School, That Is. Linda Jarrell owns her own restaurant on Main Street in Heflin. It's not Pop’s, but Mom's. Nancy Taylor is the librarian at the Cleburne County Library. She has read every book in there at least three times. Edna Pcsnell is now the Extension Agent of Cleburne County. Deborah Swafford currently works as a tourist guide in Birmingham. Randy Prichctt is now operating the 1-20 Huddle House in Heflin. Randy Pullen is the owner of a bathroom fixtures outlet specializing in Tubs. Lucy Cason has become the head nurse at Cleburne County Hospital. Gail Daniel owns a man’s pants factory in Trickem Valley. Wallace Cooley announces that he still prefers women over girls. Johnny Harlan never worries about today because he has to-MORROW in his hands. Kenneth Haywood is the owner of the Marlboro company, but he still has a nicotine fit when he hears the song Marlboro Country. ” David Joltnson is now an expert on Virtues and Vises. Warren Freeman is now the senior partner for FREEMAN, FREEMAN FREEMAN Law Firm which is still handling the campaign for George Wallace. Phil Nelson invites all his old friends to the grand opening of his new restaurant with topless waitresses. It's called Phil's Bar And Girls. Lester Laminack has recently broken his own world record. He now speaks 584 words per minute. June Roberts is now an inventor. Her most famous invention is the electric sock dryer. Since George Blanda's retirement, Stanley Clay has taken over lacking duties for the Oakland Raiders. Larry Hill has three little boys, all of whom were elected Cutest in their grade at school. Michael White is now an English teacher at CCHS. He has outlasted Mrs. Chcsnut, Mrs. Thompson, and Mrs. Noell. Bo-Peep has lost his sheep and now owns a gas station called ’’Greasey's Place. Ricky McCormick is now a world famous artist, specializing in monsters. Michael Norton is now a partner to Larry Bell. Norton and Bell's Welding Company.” Catherine Breed is an executive secretary to the President of the University of Chulafinnee. Ann Prothro is now employed as a dental assistant. Lillie Dupree is now a teacher for Head Start. Janie Coggin and Beverly Vise are still putting on their make-up for graduation. Maybe they will make it for the 1084 exercises. Patricia Willingham is now a successful lady executive of Sun Oil Company. Barbara Hyatt is now a happy homemaker and not so happy B-Team Cheerleader Sponsor. Jerry Patterson is a wolf at Disney World - all that flirting prepared him well. Annie Little is an office assistant to the principal. Kcnnetli Riddle is in charge of Halloween Tricks for all the faculty. Rudy Rooks is an English professor at Judson - you should hear what the girls are learning. Martha Speight is president of the CCES PTA. Siicrcc Thompson is still babysitting with the younger boys. Ricky Tollcson is coaching at Jax State. All the college girls want to come out for varsity sports. Sammy Young is a professional model for Wakefield's. Jo Ann Prothro is a cosmetologist with a shop of her ow n. In keeping with tradition, Doug Roberts alternately w'cars a neck brace and a cast all the time. With Doug in a brace and other members in their varied and respected places, I the 1974 Tiger leave my graduating class again to return in still another ten years.
