144 X SENIORS 0 10 WI- in QD '11 lk The ident, cey Bi senior class officers QFROM LEFD Chris Hinton, Vice-Pres Scott Zeiger, President: Daryl Seaton, Treasurer, and Tra- nzel, Secretary, made the seniors' last year successful with their leadership. The senior class made their debut by entering a float for the Homecoming Parade. It consisted of a tornado, grasping a spear to tie in with the theme, Spear the Spartans . Late hours and last minute details kept the builders busy. The toweri just a an all- ng tornado, when completed, measured sixteen feet - few inches taller than the traffic lights. Enthusiasm was at time high when a few seniors ran across the field display- ing a banner saying Class of 78 during Tornado Tales. Chr istmas time came and the students had a plant sale to raise xasike simian? Y., ggswwik ,,f:,,j1fQjfy l y ,C V' ..,, f fl 'ff money. Bay area nurseries came to the aid by donating plants which were sold for a total profit of 5200. T-shirts, listing every senior's name in alphabetical order, were also sold by the offi- cers. Toward the end of the year, all awaited the traditional Grad- Night and the Junior-Senior Prom, which was to be held at the Egypt Shriners' Temple. But for the grand finale, everyone was filled with excitement when it came to graduation. lt brought wonder to most meaning their future was up to whatever fate and fortune they might encounter. Many students couldn't wait to leave but others started to miss old C.H.S. even before the music died away.
