In selecting members for the society, the adviser of the publications also takes into consideration grade averages: A student must rank in the upper third of his class. One of the group ' s projects was a sale of photos from all three publications. The Christmas holidays brought a somewhat sad occasion with the death of for- mer English and journalism teacher, Mrs. Edna North Knapp, for whom the CHS chapter of Quill and Scroll is named. Mr. Pierce, advisor, congratulates new members. Chris Cubbison initiates new members, Frank White, Leslie Watson, Debbi Ward, Ceci Rophie, Peggie Rhodes, Gray Mason, Mary Lee Hall, JoAnn Charter, Mary Ann Clark, and Debbie Bruner. Jan Moore serves refreshments to Debbie Bruner, Mary Ann Clark, Gray Mason, and Jo Ann Charter.
