Lp%z±EntatLon When yesterday was today, and the graduating class of 1942 was just entering high school, the seniors of that year, which was 1940, brought forth a new idea and established a new tradition in Clearwater High School. That idea, that tradition, took form and being in the first volume of the “Aqua Clara”. The 1940 edition, with its theme “Progress”, made both progress and history in C. H. S. Selecting “Futu- rity” as the theme of the 1941 “Aqua Clara”, last year’s seniors ably upheld the high standards of the first edition, and left the present class a smooth but diff- icult trail to follow. Now it is the turn of the graduating class of 1942 to present the “AQUA CLARA OF 1942” — its theme, Today; its purpose, to provide a key with which, when tomorrow is today, to unlock the store- house of the memories of yesterday; its hope, to carry on the standards set by the two previous issues, and to leave future senior classes an even higher goal at which to aim.
