xpanding New Horizons As 1987 fizzles into the past, new growth erupts bring- ing with it a variety of improvements. Building new facili- ties, reaching new heights, and expanding new horizons come with the closing of a year, bringing new begin- nings. As graduates leave C.C.C., they will encounter fresh situations from which to leam. Other C.C.C. stu- dents, who will retum in the fall, will move up to contin- ue their high-school years. The new locker rooms and band room will be complete, and the newly elected committees or councils will plan for another successful year. oving In Different Directions Looking at the year past, many visions fill the minds of C.C.C. students. Among these visions are: quiet reflective moments, celebrated victories, unify- ing tragedies, completed work, knowledge leamed, friendships made, accomplished maturity, the start of new beginnings, and the sorrows of saying good- bye. For some the struggle is over, but for others who retum, more challenges lie ahead. Leaving family and friends fills one with sadness, awakening new fears. Saying goodbye - brings floods of tears signi- fying an end, and also the start of a new life. Different directions to follow are available, decisions to be made, and dreams to pursue, but the lasting memo- ries of high school will endure forever. X 'AAA flxf
