One by one they appeared, the latest arrival more ex- cited than the rest. This is the first day back to school for Central students. Ap- pearing in knockout clothes - fresh outstanding shapes and softer textures, C.C.C. students display their creativity. The hottest items during 1986-87 include bows, kha- ki cloth, gold shoes, silver belts, and the return of full- length skirts. Each unique style is a mosaic of colors either bold or pastel. Subtle shades of baby blue and pale pink accented with bursts of yellow and purple can be found. Silver is the latest l'find . It can be seen on belts, earrings, watches, 224 shirts, and even shoes. The combination of silver and turquoise invokes a feeling of western - from the harsh dusty plains where boots are wom to the city slicker in faded jeans and a beaten denim jacket. One of the most versatile items to appear on the fash- ion scene are denim mini- skirts. They can be wom from a basketball game to a spirited dance. Many looks and colors swarmed the halls of Cen- tral. Ranging from argyles and loafers to trenchcoats and bowling shoes, Central students find individuality even with a uniform. Even though students are re- stricted to a point, their true colors shine through. a
