Seniors Frosh vs. JuniorsfSophs ,I .. ,, -l 2. if if ,f 2. W, ' Ready! Set! I-like! The powder- puff game was finally under way after being postponed a week and a half. The game had been set for March 26 of Spring Fling week by the Student Council, but because of the rainy weather, it was rescheduled for Tuesday, April 7. The coaches for the Sr.- Frosh. team were Robert Bro- kamp, Chris Colangelo, Peter Hahn, Reynold Hausman, Mike Malzahn, John Pezey and Bob Zagers. The Jr.-Soph. team was coached by Chris Corbo, Danny Filardi, Roy Fuhs, Cy tlart and Pete Hodges. During halftime, Vic Stephens, the elected Spring Fling King was to be crowned, but because of a mix-up, Tim Slaughter was announced. Yet, despite these setbacks the night was exciting and action packed. The final score was 6-0 in favor of the Jr.-Soph. team.

Singin' And Spring Flingin' The lights dimmed, the audienceibecame at- tentive, and the music started, thus beginning a night of entertainment and excitement. It was the annual Spring Fling Air Band. i Cm, Friday night of March 27, students from various grades were given a chance to show us what they have. French Honor Society Induction On May 15, at 7:50, 12 new members were in- ducted into the French Honor Society. An opening prayer was said by Jamilyn Jackson and the play The Prince Who Could Not Sneeze was per- formed by the French Ill class. The history of the candle ceremony was told in French by Kristen Adikes and translated into English by Robert Miotke. Each new member held a candle which symbolized their newly found unity in the French Honor Society. The new members recited the French motto 'lvouloir C'est Pouvoir meaning, Where there's a will, there's a way. After the ceremony the members enjoyed refreshments with their families. 115 SOC6 0 0953 I DE
