Points are earned by doing technical work or acting. The members of the Neophytes might be called dramatic apprentices. There were no officers but the club was advised by Mrs. jenkins and Marie Wozniak vice president of Thespians. Act well your partg there all the honor lies is the motto of the National Thespian Society, an organization which tries to promote the improvement of dramatic arts in the secondary schools. The Clearview chapter was formed in 1944, and since then has won many honors through hard work and determination. To be a member of the troupe one must have done acting or technical work. There were ten members this year. Thespians have five officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and clerk. These positions were held this year by Ken Book, Marie Wozniak, Miriam Bonsor, Richard Cherba, Evert Thompson. The boys on the team did their best, but they could have been more success- ful had it been for a few more good players. Frank Magin was the honorary captain for the football season. I-le and Evert Thompson and Marvin McCaslin were the three out- standing players this year.
