ARLENE SOLEE I'm not an angel, but I'm happy. DEBBIE STAI I don't say much, but if you could only read my thoughts PAUL THOMPSON He just keeps smiling, it makes everyone wonder what he's been up to. TRUDEE TORGERSON I never knew school was so much fun until I went the other day. ROBIN WESTRUM If she will, she will,' and you may depend on it; but if she won't, she won't, and that's the end of it. Sometimes a friend is like a favorite book; You know his every thought and word and look-- And yet you like him handy on your shelf, Because, somehow, he warms your deeper self. Yes, some friends are a lot like favorite books; They don't depend upon their fame or looks. It's what's inside-their deeper basic worth-- that makes us hold some friends the best on earth. JOHN PUICZINSKI He's so industrious that even his hair won't sit down. KAREN RANDKLEV They say she's shy....but wonder. ARVID RUSTEN He's a young man with a spark of genius, but right now he's having a little ignition trouble. GARY SCHOLL The only way to destroy en- emies is to make friends. MIKE SHELQUIST I felt good this morning until I woke up.

Senior Class History CLASS OFFICERS: Roger I., Treasurer; Becky J5 President; Karen K., Vice Pres- ident; Carrie N., Secretary. In 1959, Rt innocent but brave soldiers paraded through the front gates of Clearbrook Public School. We now graduate with 40. We who survived for all 12 years are: Judy A., Cheryl G., Debbie D., Kathy D., Dennis E., Danny E., Patsy E., Mike G., Judi G., Cindy G., Lurae H., Becky J., Darrell J., Dale K., Karen K., Lance L., Linda M., Carrie N., Betty 0., Vicky 0., Karen R., Arvid R., Mike 3., Paul T., TruDee T., Robin w., and Roger W. As time marched on, so did we. Seventh grade came and we were honored to add to our class the Leonard Kids : Elizabeth 3., Steve G., Roger 1., Roland L., and Arlene S. Our talents in building floats showed up in 8th grade when we won a prize with Tip the Tee- pee , as our slogan. As sophomores were given our part in the Homecoming festivities, Mary Jo B. was chosen as princess. The award for second prize was ours for our homecoming float, I Foresee A Victory. Our Junior year was a good year, but not quite as good as the one to come. We won second prize on our Homecoming float, Shuffle the Dragons , and Judy A. was our princess. We, with our adviser, Mr. Blowers, worked hard, long hours on our class play, Taming the Brat . The high- light of our year was putting on the Junior-Senior Prom, with the auditorium decorated in the senior class colors, silver and blue. Our theme was Love is Blue , and the music was by the Impacts . Finally our big year came. Our Homecoming candidates for queen were Cindy G., Debbie G., Lurae H., and Becky J. The king candidates were Dennis E., Bob G., Roger Iq and Roland L. Becky and Dennis were chosen to reign over the royalty. Our float, Reign Over the Warriors , pulled in a third prize. Bob G. was chosen all-conference in football. Our Senior Class Play, with a little help from the juniors, turned out to be a success. The play, Jenny Kissed Me , was di- rected by Mrs. Sutherland. Our class colors are orchid and white; our class flower is the white rose; our class song is Traces ; and our class motto is Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved. Our senior year is slipping by quickly. Now we have only the Prom and our class trip to look forward to, and, of course, graduation. 11
