Sophomore Class History Class Officers Pres1dent.... ..... .......0lander Hanson Vice-president....,,....,.,Caro1 Hinman Secretary...... ....K1tty Filar Treasurer...................V1v1an Rhen The 1947-1948 sophomore class claims the distinc- tion of having -the largest enrollment in high school. There are forty-two of us now. If the forty- our freshman to grade 10, because two five dropped eight of us that started together in year would all have continued through we would have fifty in our class now new students came in this yearg but out and three others finished their first year of high school here and went to differ- ent schools. There are seven of us who started first grade together who have continued up until now and who hope to graduate together. They are! Robert Bergland, La Vonne Emmel, Ida Erickson, Carol Hinman, Ernest Moen, Vivian Rhen, and Char- lotte Stockman. During the course of the freshman year we elected officers twice. The first semester the officers were: president, Charlotte Stockmang v1ce-pres- ident, Allan Klongerbog secretary, Eunice Blix, treasurer, Robert Bergland. Second semester offi- cers were: president, Carol Hinmang v1ce-pres1- dent, Olander Hanson, secretary, Elvera Peterson, treasurer, Don Rasmussen. Student Council repre- sentatives for the year were Richard Lenuson and ,-3 Kitty Filar. Many of the ation, athletics, paper staff, students have taken part in declam- glee club, and other extra-curricular activities. If we live up to the expectations of the teachers and try hard, we should be able to make ourselves one of the outstanding classes of Clearbrook High School. 1 - W ' W ,5 .,I,.,ga ' fe . , -6- -1--. . - 'v- I .
