Ankeney FUTURE TEACHERS OF AMERICA The Future Teachers of America Club was designed to encourage and help those students which have an in- terest in the field of teaching. The F.T .A . sponsored an annual ham and cheese sandwich sale, a wastecan sale, the Christmas Dance, and guided many visiting parents during American Education week. Members of the club also visit colleges and can at- tend various teaching workshops. Creek FUTURE NURSES OF AMERICA The Future Nurses of America club was organized to promote interest in the health fields. Members of the club participated in community fund drives such as Cancer, Heart disease, and birth defects. Field trips are taken to various places to encourage the mem- bers and inspire more interest. In the school the mem- bers take on the responsibility of caring for the health clinics.
