EDITOR'S MESSAGE The 1958 Trailblazer Staff has held as its main objective in crea- ting this book, preserving the events that have transpired during the school year 1957-58. We have caught glimpses here and there of the students, faculty, and the activities at C, H.S, , so that in years to come they will not fade from memory, You, the students and faculty, have made this book, We, the staff, have merely preserved it through word and picture, And now, we hand your school year back to you in the form of this book - the tenth edition of the Trailblazer. PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE The Trailblazer Staff and Sponsor are to be congratulated for an excellent job, It is a pleasure to delegate responsibility to members of the fac- ulty and student body and then observe the job finished in an excellent manner, This is a primary function of education - experiences that will help develop good citizens, Today, as never before, our nation needs good citizens who will think for themselves and not be led on by false goals. This development is our aim, both in school and in com- munity life. Our policy of democratic participation in student body activities is evidence of good leaming experiences.
