Artists Acquire Creative Talent Art classes affect students by giving them an opportunity for creative thoughts and a creative release. Many students get the chance to show their talents in several contests throughout the year. Some of the contests entered are the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Show, the PTA Reflections contest, and the Scholastic Art Awards. This year, students did projects in pointillism, clay and glazes, batik, calligraphy, watercolor, and pastel. Upper left: Mrs. Tina Farrell's third period class have an art celebration. Madame Al-Sayed is the teacher for both classes. She teaches French with an audiofvideo system and stories of Monsieur Thibaut. The French II classes put on a play for French I and had a French food day. Au revoir!
