Student Council Provides Activities Student Council is an organization which is design- ed to promote school spirit and provide activities for students. It is also a chance for students to see how a representative form of government functions. The organization is made up of 42 students. The group sponsored the State elections simula- tion, the food drive, the Freedom Jam concert, and the Valentine's Day dance and party. Seventh grade members are David Carl, Betsy Dowling, Jennifer Baker, Eighth grade student council members are Stephanie Han- nagan, Albert Lopez, Jennifer Menchaca, Alex Sarabia, Karen Schuhmacher, Dipu Bhattacharya, Toni Leago, Cary Uranga, Heidi Chumley, Dane Gordon, Stephanie Tomek, Chrissy Et- nyre, Robert Kwok, and Laurie Garza.
