River Falls Invitational Champs! This is the squad, the coaches, and cheerleaders that worked so hard to win this twelve team event. Craig and Tim Mitchell each won individual championships; Scott Hilton and Russ Paulson placed second; Mike Drier placed third, while Brian Anderson placed fourth. STATE ENTRIES: Scott and Craig Led by coaches Zauft and Griffin, the Warriors won many honors for themselves and C. L, H. S. Craig Mitchell won his way to state again this year with a 30-0 record, pinning 22 opponents. Freshman Scott Hilton went to state. Russell Paulson was Regional Champ. Craig, Scott and Tim Mitchell were Conference champs. The Warriors brand of aggressive wrestling is slowly convincing fans that it is a major high school sport, not just that other winter sport.
