The Warriors started the 1948 campaign with high hopes because of the returning seven letter men and the respective under olass reserves to make up the squad. Our first game was a conference game with Shell Lake. We lost this game due mainly to lack of practice and a new style of basketball, which the Warriors had not yet perfected. However the season was fairly successful. The Warriors came out second place honors In the conference. They also took the oonsolatlon at the district tournament at Luck.
